Summer for an athlete

i get so FRUSTRATED because i don’t get a normal summer. playing 3 sports in highschool makes it so everyday is a twelve hour day consumed with non-stop practices and camps. my friends get mad at me that i can never hangout, but when it comes down to it i have scholarships i’m going for. yes, it’d be nice to go walk around town or go to the beach with them everyday and live a care-free June—but that’s just not how life works when you’re me. I vent about this, but you see..the thing is: i wouldn’t give up softball, volleyball or basketball for the world.
